During my first pregnancy, I searched high and low for products that contained my favourite ingredient and ticked all the boxes on my wishlist. I knew exactly what I wanted, but just couldn’t find it. Little did I know, this would be the
start of a new mission of mine and so…
The My Little Coco journey began…
With my brand vision, hand-drawn logo (thanks mum!) and a baby on the way, I now had to make this happen. I sought out the best experts in the industry alongside a paediatrician and dermatologist to bring My Little Coco to life. It was always so important that every product could be used by the whole family, from tiny toes and tots to big brothers and sisters (not
forgetting mum and dad too!). I wanted to offer choice so formulas had to be extra gentle, mild and multi-purpose, as well as free from parabens, sulphates and dyes, vegan-friendly and cruelty-free. I have loved every aspect of development from formulation testing and designing the packaging, to the buzz of seeing products being made in the factory (I even spent a day in the warehouse moving stock wearing hi-vis!).
And so after almost 9 years of research, hard work and devotion, My Little Coco launched exclusively in Boots with a collection of 7 products. This quickly expanded to include new fragrances, first to market products and my personal favourite ‘Baby Mama’. A real pinch me moment was seeing an entire section just of My Little Coco products in my local Boots, and my eldest daughter saying “That’s Mummy’s”. This year marks another special occasion, as My Little Coco extends into new categories with the launch of our innovative and chic weaning products and accessories. There’s so much more to come, and I can’t wait to share it with you! My Little Coco is made with so much love – I really hope you and your family enjoy using the collection as much as Team Humes!
